Erin Caudill PT, DPT, NCS

Dr. Caudill is our lead physical therapist and Director of our Wellness Services.
Erin Caudill, PT, DPT, NCS is a doctor of physical therapy with a mission to help clients reclaim their independence and return to the activities that are most meaningful.
Originally from Ohio, Dr. Caudill received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Ohio University in 2007. She has worked at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, one of the nation’s top rehabilitation centers, and is a board certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist (NCS). She has experience working with clients with a multitude of neurologic diagnoses, such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, Guillain-Barre syndrome, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, amputations, peripheral neuropathies, autoimmune disorders, Parkinson’s Disease, and dystonia.
Dr. Caudill is certified in LVST Big Therapy, and she is a PWR! (Parkinson's Wellness Recovery) expert clinician for treating Parkinson's Disease.
Her practice in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, out-patient and home health, and her experience teaching future doctors of physical therapy in the classrooms at University of Southern California and in the clinic provide her with a well-rounded, research-based approach to rehabilitation.
Erin has a passion for balance in life and strives to help clients achieve this as well. She is an avid runner, traveler, and yoga enthusiast who strives for constant personal growth and gaining the most out of every life experience.
Pamela Ressler PT, DPT, NCS

Pam Ressler, PT, DPT, NCS is a doctor of physical therapy and Board Certified Neurologic Specialist (NCS) who is passionate about partnering with people to help them reach their personal goals and maximize independence.
Dr. Ressler received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at The George Washington University and completed her neurologic residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital. At Johns Hopkins she gained experience in treating people with both simple and complex neurologic diagnoses, such as acute and chronic stroke, brain injury, Guillain-Barre syndrome, transverse myelitis, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, ALS, dystonia, and acoustic neuromas. Dr. Ressler has practiced in outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation and acute care settings. She has also served as adjunct faculty member in the physical therapy program at The George Washington University will continue teaching future physical therapists at the physical therapy program the University of Southern California. She is also a PWR! (Parkinson's Wellness Recovery) expert clinician for treating Parkinson's Disease.
Her experience treating patients across the continuum of care combined with her passion for mentoring and educating students effortlessly translates into the clinic to provide clients with a balanced rehabilitation approach that is client centered and evidence based. When she's not in the clinic, she makes the most of her free time by traveling as often as possible, staying active and spending time with her family and friends.

Ali, our current Schmidt Fellow, received her Bachelors of Arts in Dance Science from California State University, Long Beach and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. She earned her BASI Pilates Certification in 2009 under the mentorship of Pilates expert, Karen Clippinger and has enjoyed working with individuals to gain strength and improve body alignment ever since. Ali is also a certified Zumba instructor, PWR! (Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery) expert clinician and has been teaching ballet and jazz for over 10 years. Her enthusiasm and love for movement is contagious. Ali is excited to combine her dance, Pilates, and physical therapy knowledge to positively impact people's lives.
Julie Hershberg PT, DPT, NCS

Dr. Hershberg is the founder of [re+active] and works part time while also teaching at USC and raising her daughters.
She is an adjunct instructor of physical therapy at the University of Southern California, Department of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy. In clinical practice, Dr. Hershberg enjoys working with adults with neurologic diagnoses with a special interest in walking recovery, balance and fall prevention, and dystonia. She completed the neurologic residency program at USC and Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center and is a board certified neurologic clinical specialist (NCS).
She has practiced in outpatient, inpatient and home health neurologic rehabilitation settings in Southern California and was the site team leader for the NIH-sponsored Locomotor Experience Applied Post Stroke (LEAPS) clinical research trial at USC and Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center. She has presented at courses nationwide regarding treatment and decision-making for individuals with neurologic disorders and aims to bring this expertise to her clients.
A Southern California native, Julie loves to run in the waves with her daughters and husband, surf, stand up paddle, hike and practice yoga.
Mary Ann Bailey, MA, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Mary Ann Bailey, MA, OTR/L earned her Master’s degree from the University of Southern California in 2008 after completing her undergraduate studies at UC Irvine. She started her career at Hoag Hospital where she worked primarily with people with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, CVA, brain cancer, and MS in outpatient rehabilitation. She also has experience “working across the lifespan”—by working with children and adolescents in both acute rehabilitation and outpatient settings. Mary Ann is dedicated to helping her clients and their families live meaningful and productive lives. She is certified in LSVT BIG and has pursued other training with Parkinson’s disease treatment and stroke rehabilitation. Additionally she completed a Low Vision Rehabilitation Certificate through the University of Alabama, Birmingham in 2012.
Mary Ann is a firm believer in the balance between work, rest and play. She sings in two choral organizations, is a crossfit enthusiast and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Alex Schang PT, DPT, NCS, RYT-200
NeuroYoga Instructor
Dr. Schang's interest in the human body began after a patella dislocation in the dance studio soon after starting college. They say every cloud has a silver lining- for Alex this included discovery of physical therapy and yoga, both of which became the passions of her life. She is a full-time board certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center and completed her 200-hour yoga teacher’s training in March 2012 at the Yandara Yoga Institute. She loves to create space for the joys of life through movement, breath work, nature walks, and...eating good Chinese food.
Chris Anderson
[re+active] Voice Instructor
Chris Anderson enjoys teaching and seeing the benefits of using music to increase wellness and health. With a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy and Music Education, she has over 25 years experience using music to achieve a variety of goals with all ages. She enjoys working with client with PD and she is very excited about leading the re+tune, voice re-training group!
Byanca Rodriguez
[re+active] Coordinator and PWR! Trainer
Byanca is our lead Coordinator and Certified Parkinson's Wellness Recovery (PWR!) Trainer. Byanca graduated from California State University Fullerton with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. She plans to continue her education and pursue her dreams of becoming a physical therapist. Byanca previously worked as a research assistant at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center, where she was part of a study that was dedicated to arm rehabilitation in post-stroke patients. Byanca’s main aspiration is to make a small difference in the world and to improve the mind, body, and soul of every patient she encounters. Byanca loves to be around her family and friends, travel the world, hike somewhere new, music of all kinds and cheering for her favorite football team.
Jazzy Molina
[re+active] Coordinator and PWR! Trainer
Jazzy is a coordinator and Certified PWR! Trainer. She is a graduate of Palisades High School and currently completing her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Cal State Dominguez Hills with plans to attend physical therapy school. She has experience with working with clients of all abilities and takes a big part in assisting with all of our wellness classes.
